We ate at Boondocks while vacationing in 2017 and did so again with a party of six in 2025. Their food is great, and the atmosphere is very fun! The rest of our party ate here a second night because they enjoyed it so much. One of the managers was our server, and she was amazing also!

A Must-Visit in the Florida Keys! The atmosphere was lively and fun, with great island vibes and live music The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and fast. The food was delicious! I had the Mango Mahi Mahi, which was perfectly cooked and paired with a tasty vegetable medley and crispy fries. My husband went for the BBQ Ribs, and they were fall-off-the-bone tender, served with their unique bacon potato salad and classic coleslaw. Everything was fresh and full of flavor! Bonus points for being dog-friendly making it a perfect stop for travelers with pups. If you're in the Keys, definitely add Boondocks to your list! Boondocks at Ramrod Key has a great atmosphere and delicious food. The service was excellent, and if you go, be sure to ask for America—she’s absolutely amazing! Friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

This place is just the kind of family friendly restaurant with an amazing atmosphere with live music and games. It reminds me very much of the classic tropical/beach vibe restaurant I went to as a kid on vacation. The food looked and tasted great and the 5 margaritas on Tuesdays were well worth it. My brother got the bacon Mac n cheese which although it’s a cheaper option, it seemed like a pretty small portion (with no sides), so just be aware of that if you’re expecting a lot of food. But the mahi mahi I got was very filling and at a good price, so I recommend getting that. The mango sauce with balsamic vinegar was a unique and great combination

Fun spot in the middle of the Keys. Live music seemingly every night. We split the Smokehouse Burger which was decent. Highly recommend for the great island vibe and the live music. They have a nice looking putt putt course but we did not partake.

Wasn't busy for our lunch but they are set up to handle large parties. Different sections for different seating (backed chairs v bench seating). The waitress was attentive but not overwhelming, the food was good and the portions large. We had the loaded chips and stuffed large nushroom, and a Cobb salad (loaded house). Enjoyable and convenient Perhaps the house music could co.e down just a little for lunch

Such a great time! We hit happy hour Delicious chicken wings we ordered Buffalo hot and Asian zing ( can’t remember the right name) bang bang shrimp. We loved it and live music was so good!!

Boondocks is an awesome spot in the Keys! The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. They also have a great selection of beers that pair perfectly with the meal. The vibe is relaxed, and it’s a fun place to hang out, especially with live music and mini-golf. Definitely worth a stop!
